Who are your organic ingredients certified by?

All our certified organic ingredients are certified by ECOCERT which was the first certification body to develop standards for “natural and organic cosmetics”.

Are your products tested on animals?

We do not test the products on animals, neither is any testing on animals done on our behalf. All our products are made in Italy and in Europe animal testing for cosmetics has been banned since 2013.  This is in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 (EU Cosmetics Regulation).

Are your sugarcane bottles biodegradable or compostable?

No, they are not biodegradable or compostable. Our bioplastic bottles made from sugarcane are 100% recyclable. Please discard the empty bottle in the blue recyclable bin.

Should I remove the cap and mist sprayer from the bottle to dispose them?
It is absolutely important to remove the mist sprayer pump before placing the bottle in the recycling bin. The pump has a metal spring in its mechanism and it is not recyclable. We are committed to continuously look for greener alternatives in every aspect of our product, including better alternatives for future productions to replace the sprayer pump.
Are the Leave-ins good for any hair type and safe for hair colored hair?

Yes, our products are formulated for all hair types and textures. Also safe for color treated hair.

Is your fragrance natural?

No, but as stated above we are committed to continuously look for greener alternatives in every aspect of our products, including better alternatives for future productions.

I tend to be allergic to many ingredients and have sensitive scalp, can I use your product?

Always do a skin patch test to be 100% sure you are not allergic to any ingredients in our products.

Orders & Returns

How do I place an order?

Our products are available to order here. Orders will be processed Monday through Friday and will ship same day as long as the order is placed before 1pm PST.

 

What is your return policy?

You can return your order within 30 business days after received. Please email us at info@sustainableglam.com to start the return process. Items must be unopened. Unfortunately, we do not refund the original shipping fee paid or return shipping cost. Refunds will be made using the same payment method used to process original order and the time frame depends on your bank and the method of payment used.

 

Will your products be available at other online retailers?
We hope to be in as many quality beauty online retailers as possible. If you love our products please help us spread the word!

Shipping

What shipping method do you use?

Domestic USA: FedEx, USPS or UPS

International: USPS, UPS or DHL

 

How long will it take to get my package?

 

Domestic [USA] via ground can take from 1 to 4 business days to get your order.

International will vary depending on the country. 

 

How do I track my order?

Once your order is processed you will receive an email with your order information and a tracking number. You will be able to track your order via FedEx, USPS or UPS websites with your tracking number.

 

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do ship internationally.

All international orders are subject to customs and duty fees as defined by the country of import. Customs and duty fees are not included in your Sustainable Glam order and/or shipping total. You are responsible to pay for any customs & duties fees. Sustainable Glam is not responsible for fees associated with import. All fees must be paid by the parcel recipient. 

Please note Sustainable Glam is not responsible for any shipping deliveries that may be affected by customs, natural occurrences, transfers from FedEx, USPS or UPS to the local carrier in your country or air and ground transportation strikes or delays.

This is why it is important to make sure you know the costs of importing a hair care product to your country. Also, to make sure you are allowed to import a hair care product in your country.

Packages un-deliverable by FedEx, USPS or UPS and/or their international shipping partners will be cancelled and refunded once received and processed at our shipping hub. We are not responsible for the shipping cost for returning the package to us.
